Framingham teachers union to focus actions on school board

The Framingham teachers union plans to go after school board members as part of its latest effort to secure a new contract.

?It is time that we start focusing our actions specifically on the members of the Framingham school committee,? Framingham Teachers Association President Sam Miskin said in a recent email to fellow members. ?They need to feel the same level of stress that we have been for the past year.?

The letter goes on to ask teachers for information about board members? ?lives, activities and daily routines.?

The union, whose last contract expired last summer, plans to picket today at the Town Common after school.
